Two People Seriously Hurt in El Paso Crash on Interstate 10 at Redd Road

El Paso, Texas (May 11, 2018) – Two people were seriously injured in a two-car accident in El Paso Thursday afternoon, El Paso Police said.
The accident took place at about 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 10 on Interstate 10 at Redd Road.
According to the El Paso Police, the collision involved two vehicles, one of which was a delivery-type truck.
EPPD’s Special Traffic Investigators Unit responded to the scene and two people were transported to a hospital with life-threatening.
Interstate 10 East at Redd was shut down and was expected to be reopened by 5:00 p.m.
Motorists were diverted to use Doniphan or Mesa as alternate routes.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
