Two Injured in Weslaco Car Accident on FM 1015
Weslaco, Texas (September 22, 2018) – Two people were hospitalized after a car crashed into a Weslaco home Friday, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The crash took place on Friday, September 21 on Farm-to-Market 1015.
Authorities said a driver was heading northbound on FM 1015 when for an undetermined reason he drifted left on the road and slams into the residence.
According to the DPS officials, an infant who was inside the residence at the time of the accident was transported to the hospital as a precaution while the driver was taken to the local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
DPS said the driver was intoxicated at the time of the accident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
