2 Hospitalized after Alleged DUI Crash on Santa Ursula Avenue in Laredo

Two injured in Laredo Car Crash on Santa Ursula Avenue; Raul Rios Arrested
Laredo, Texas (November 20, 2018) – Two people were injured last Thursday in a suspected DUI crash in Laredo, according to a local news source.
The crash occurred at about 11:00 p.m. Thursday, November 15 in the 3900 block of Santa Ursula Avenue.
According to Laredo police, Raul Rios, 18, was driving on Santa Ursula Avenue when his Ford Fusion collided with a Chevy Silverado pickup.
Two passengers, who were in the Fusion, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Laredo Medical Center.
Officers who questioned Rios at the site of the accident said that he struggled with his speech and balance and smelled of alcohol.
Rios was arrested and charged with intoxication assault with a vehicle.
The crash remains under investigation.
