Man Hospitalized after San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Pecan Valley Drive

San Antonio, Texas (February 5, 2018) – An 18-year-old man was transported to a hospital following an accident where he was struck by a vehicle on Saturday night on the East Side, according to police.
The crash occurred at around 8 p.m. Saturday, February 3, at Pecan Valley Drive and Interstate 37 South.
Police said the man was walking across the street when he was knocked down by a vehicle.
The victim was transported to San Antonio Medical Center in critical condition.
A woman driving the vehicle remained at the scene and rendered aid.
Police said no charges were expected.
Another man also crossing the street reportedly ran after the incident. It’s unclear why the man fled the scene.
