Man Dies in Southwest Houston Car Crash on Beltway 8 and Fondren

Houston, Texas (December 11, 2018) – One person was killed when two cars collided and caused one of them to roll over on Tuesday morning in southwest Houston, according to the HPD.
The incident occurred at the Beltway 8 feeder road and Fondren at around 4:25 a.m.
HPD said an SUV traveling northbound on Fondren T-boned a second one which was heading east on the Beltway 8 feeder road. One of the vehicles reportedly ran a red light at the intersection.
The impact caused the SUV traveling on Fondren to roll over. The driver of that SUV died at the site of the crash.
It’s unclear whether anyone else was hurt in the crash.
The HPD is working to determine the cause of the crash.
