1 Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident at South Loop East and Golfrest Boulevard

Houston, TX. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle on Tuesday morning in Houston.

According to the Houston Police Department, the accident occurred on South Loop East at Golfrest Boulevard at around 12:00 a.m.

The pedestrian was crossing a road when he was hit by a silver Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 24-year-old man,

The pedestrian succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.

Police do not believe impairment was a factor in the crash.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
