1 Killed in Glasscock County Crash on State Highway 158

Glasscock County, TX. – A 28-year-old man was killed in a fiery car crash on Tuesday evening in Glasscock County.

According to local police, the crash occurred on State Highway 158 near mile marker 314 at around 6:00 p.m.

A 2001 Kenworth W900 was traveling northwest on SH 158 in the left lane and attempted to turn left onto the lease road and was struck on the rear by a Chevrolet Silverado heading northwest in the left lane.

The Silverado burst into flames

The driver of Silverado was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 56-year-old driver of the Kenworth was taken to the hospital with severe injuries.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
