1 Killed in Crash with Food Trailer on Highway 242 in Montgomery County

One Dies in Montgomery County Accident on Highway 242

Montgomery County, Texas (November 16, 2018) – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle wreck involving a food trailer on Thursday afternoon in Montgomery County, according to the DPS.
The accident occurred shortly before 2 p.m. November 15 on Highway 242.
The DPS said a vehicle heading west on Highway 242 lost its trailer load and the load struck an eastbound car. A third vehicle was also involved in the collision.
The driver of the eastbound car was killed in the crash.
One person in the second eastbound vehicle was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The driver of the westbound truck was not injured.
The authorities are working to find out the cause of the crash.
