Henderson County, Texas (February 13, 2018)  — One person was fatally injured in a collision involving an 18-wheeler late Sunday afternoon in Henderson County, according to Texas Department of Public Safety.
The deadly collision took place on Sunday, February 11, near US Highway 175 and FM 804, just east of Athens.
The DPS stated that the collision involved an 18-wheeler and a passenger vehicle.
Authorities confirmed that one person sustained fatal injuries as a result of the crash.
The cause of the crash remained under an investigation.
