League City, Texas (June 9, 2018) – A tow truck driver was killed in a crash in League City early Saturday morning, according to police.
Police said the collision occurred at about 4:30 a.m. on FM 646 and Avenue G.
According to the police, the driver was responding to another crash when they were loading the disabled vehicle onto the wrecker. Another car crashed into the tow truck.
The tow truck operator died at the scene.
The driver of the car was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police said the particular stretch of road is dark and the car driver may not have seen the tow truck.
Alcohol or drugs were not considered factors in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
We extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.

The information for this blog post was obtained from public media and is for informational purposes.  No attorney-client relationship is established unless the law firm is formally retained. We understand this is a difficult time for the family of those affected by a tragic accident, and we offer our sincere sympathies.  While the thought of hiring a law firm may not feel appropriate at this time, as a public service we like to advise that in some cases it may be important to immediately begin securing evidence (such as photos of skid marks and property damage) and witness statements before it’s too late.
