1 Killed, 2 Injured in Wrong-Way Crash on TX-151 in San Antonio

One Killed and Two Injured in San Antonio Car Crash on Texas 151 and Loop 1604
San Antonio, Texas (November 2, 2018) – One person was killed and two other people were injured Friday morning in a traffic accident in San Antonio, according to a local news source.
The fatal crash took place at about 3:00 a.m. near the intersection of TX-151 and Loop 1604.
As per the report, a vehicle was reportedly traveling in the wrong direction on TX-151. Witnesses said they saw the car stopped in the middle of the highway, and they pulled over to approach the vehicle.
When they did so, the vehicle sped off eastbound on the westbound side of the highway. Moments later, that vehicle collided head-on with an oncoming construction truck.
As a result of the crash, construction truck overturned.
A woman, who was driving the pickup, was killed in the crash. Her passenger, a woman in her 20s, sustained major injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
The driver of the truck also sustained serious injuries.
Police said the woman driving the wrong-way might have been under the influence at the time of the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
