El Paso, TX. – A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a car on Sunday afternoon in El Paso.

According to the El Paso Police Department, the accident happened around 2:15 p.m. at Montwood Drive and Lake Omega Street.

A vehicle is reported to have struck a pedestrian in unclear circumstances.

The pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
