Carthage, TX. – A pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck by a car on Wednesday afternoon in Carthage.
According to the Panola County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 4:45 p.m. on Highway 59 South near Spring Street.
A pedestrian was walking across the street and was hit by a car.
The man was injured and was taken via EMS Air 1 for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
The Carthage Police Department is investigating the cause of the accident.
