Beaumont, TX. – A woman was injured in a crash on Wednesday morning in Beaumont.
According to local police, the accident happened on Interstate 10 east near the Farm-to-Market 1442 overpass at around 7:55 a.m.
The Beaumont woman was driving a 2024 Toyota Camry east when she veered left and hit the barrier.
The impact caused the car to cross the eastbound lanes and hit the outside concrete wall. The car bounced back and struck the trailer of an eastbound truck.
The woman was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
