Houston, Texas (January 27, 2018) – One person was transported to a hospital after a multi-vehicle crash early Saturday morning in Houston, according to HPD.
The accident took place at around 12:45 a.m. near the intersection of Airline Drive and Crosstimbers Street.
Police said a driver traveling eastbound on Crosstimbers Street ran a red light and crashed into an HPD vehicle that was traveling northbound on Airline Drive.
The crash pushed the two vehicles into the path of southbound traffic causing two other vehicles to slam into them.
One person was transported to a hospital with minor injuries.
The HPD officer was uninjured.
The driver who ran the light was arrested after attempting to flee the scene.
If you or a person you love was a victim of an injury accident, it is advisable that you talk to a personal injury lawyer.
Advice from an attorney can help you take proper legal steps against the responsible party.

We understand this is a difficult time for the family of those affected by a tragic accident, and we offer our sincere sympathies.  While the thought of hiring a law firm may not feel appropriate at this time, as a public service we like to advise that in some cases it may be important to immediately begin securing evidence (such as photos of skid marks and property damage) and witness statements before it’s too late.
