El Paso, Texas (June 8, 2018) – One person was injured and another arrested after a high-speed chase ended in a crash at an intersection in El Paso on Thursday night, according to the DPS.
The collision occurred at around 8:32 p.m. June 7, at Lebanon Avenue and Russell Road.
DPS said troopers were conducting a traffic stop on Sunland Park Drive when the driver of a maroon Isuzu Rodeo failed to stop.
The driver led the police on a high-speed chase, striking a parked vehicle outside State Line Restaurant. The pursuit then ended when the Isuzu crashed into another vehicle at Lebanon Avenue and Russell Road.
The driver of the second car that was hit was treated for minor injuries.
The driver involved in the chase, later identified as Josue Infante, 22, was arrested and charged with evading.

The information for this blog post was obtained from public media and is for informational purposes. No attorney-client relationship is established unless the law firm is formally retained. We understand this is a difficult time for the family of those affected by a tragic accident, and we offer our sincere sympathies. While the thought of hiring a law firm may not feel appropriate at this time, as a public service we like to advise that in some cases it may be important to immediately begin securing evidence (such as photos of skid marks and property damage) and witness statements before it’s too late.
