1 Hurt in Taylor County Two-Vehicle Collision at Highway 83/84 and Bell Plains Road
Taylor County, TX – One person was injured Sunday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision in Taylor County, south of Abilene, according to officials.
The collision happened on March 1 at the intersection of Highway 83/84 and Bell Plains Road north of Tuscola.
Officials said a truck was traveling on the highway while a Corvette was attempting to turn onto the highway from Bell Plains Road.
The truck driver attempted to stop after they saw the Corvette, but the vehicles ended up colliding.
The force of the impact pushed the Corvette into a wire fence.
A person in the Corvette sustained minor injuries in the collision.
No other injuries were reported.
The collision remains under investigation.
