At Least 1 Hurt in Austin Two-Car Crash on Interstate 35 at Oltorf

Austin, Texas (July 16, 2019) – At least one person was hospitalized after a suspected hit-and-run accident early Tuesday morning in Austin, according to the Austin police.

The wreck happened on Interstate 35 at the Oltorf exit just after 2:30 a.m.

Police said two cars collided on northbound I-35 and the impact caused at least one of them to roll over.

Multiple people from one of the cars ran away from the scene after the incident but were located shortly after.

One person was taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

No further details were released.

The Austin Police Department is investigating the crash.
