Dallas, TX – A person was killed Tuesday morning in a pedestrian accident in Dallas, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened just after 4:30 a.m. on March 17 on I-30.

Police said a person was in the roadway when he was struck by a vehicle.

The person was killed in the accident. His name has not been released.

The accident closed all westbound lanes of I-30 at Sylvan Avenue for several hours, and motorists were urged to seek alternate routes.

The police are investigating the accident.
