Woman Dead in West Loop at Pine Street Crash; DUI Suspect Arrested

Bellaire, Texas (August 13, 2017) – A woman died Saturday morning after a two-vehicle crash in Bellaire, according to a police report.
The accident happened at about 2 a.m. on the West Loop at Pine Street on Saturday 12 August.
The suspect, driving a white pickup truck, drove on the wrong side of the West loop and collided head-on with the woman’s car.
The woman was driving southbound on the West Loop at Pine Street. Police reported that the woman died at the scene of the accident. The suspected drunk driver was not injured in the crash. He was arrested and is expected to face intoxicated manslaughter charges.
