Erica Carrillo ID’d as Woman Critically Injured in Odessa Crash on Interstate 20 and West Loop 338
Odessa, Texas (January 13, 2019) – The woman who was critically injured early Saturday morning in a traffic crash in southwest Odessa has been identified as Erica Carrillo, 31, of Odessa, according to police.
The wreck was reported at about 4:47 a.m. Saturday, January 12 near Interstate Highway 20 and West Loop 338.
Police said Carrillo was entering Interstate 20 when she drifted across both westbound lanes and was hit by a UPS Freightliner.
Carrillo sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to MCH where she was listed in critical condition.
No other injuries were reported. An investigation into the crash is underway.
