Man Killed in Harris County Pedestrian Crash on Freeport and Bandera Streets

Harris County, Texas (January 11, 2019) – A man was killed in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident in Cloverleaf in east Harris County on Thursday morning.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the fatal crash happened at about 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 10 at Freeport and Bandera streets.
Deputies said a driver fled the scene after hitting a man at the intersection.
It’s unclear whether the victim was walking across or along the street when he was struck.
The victim was killed in the crash. His identity was not immediately.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
