Driver Injured in Longview Car Crash on Highway 31 at Loop 281
Longview, Texas (January 8, 2019) – A driver was hospitalized last week Monday after a DUI crash in Longview, authorities said.
The wreck happened at about 11:30 p.m. Monday, December 31, 2018, through Loop 281 and Highway 31.
According to the authorities, Cody Lee Hall was running away from police after his van was hit head-on by the police vehicle. The van then ran a red light and struck another vehicle.
Hall and the driver of the second vehicle were transported to a hospital in unknown condition. Hall was then arrested for fleeing the police and driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
