The deadly collision happened just before 2:30 a.m. on May 11 in the 6100 block of South FM 973.
Police said two vehicles were involved in the collision.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released.
Another person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The collision closed both lanes of FM 973.
