Zavala County, TX. – Authorities have identified two men who died in a car crash on Wednesday afternoon in Zavala County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash occurred on U.S. Highway 83 near La Pryor at around 6:45 a.m.
Louis Perez III, 21, was driving a Chevrolet northbound on the highway when it drifted into the opposite side of the road at some point and collided head-on with a 1999 Freightliner semitrailer.
Perez III, and his passenger, Isaiah Louis Peres, 19, both residents of Devine, were killed in the accident.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
