Beaumont, TX. – One person was injured in a crash involving a semi-truck on Friday morning in Beaumont.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash happened at the intersection of Walden and Fannett Road at around 8 a.m.
A semi-truck, carrying two 10-ton weights, lost its load, and the load collided with the rear of a Toyota SUV that had stopped at the intersection.
The driver of the SUV was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
The truck driver was cited for unsecured load.
