Liberty County, TX – Two people were killed Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision in Liberty County, according to the Texas DPS.
The fatal accident happened just after 2:20 p.m. on April 4 on Highway 99 near Community Drive.
DPS said a white Dodge van was crossing a bridge when it hydroplaned and crashed into a Ford truck.
The Ford driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Dodge driver was ejected and was taken to HCA Kingwood, where she later died.
No further details were provided.
The DPS is investigating the accident.
