Three Vehicles Collide Killing One Man at 900 East Loop North Freeway

Houston, Texas (July 22, 2017) – A man was killed in a deadly crash that occurred Thursday morning on East Interstate Highway 610 in Houston, according to a Houston Police Department report.
The deadly crash occurred at about 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 30, at 900 East Loop North, a report said.
Police said a black Jeep Liberty, a black Lexus, and an Orange Freightliner 18-wheeler were involved in the crash.
The three vehicles were heading north on the Ears Loop North Near Clinton when, for some reason, the Jeep driver lost control of the vehicle, veered to the right and hit the guardrail. The Jeep went back left and struck the right side of the Lexus. The impact caused the Lexus to spin the left, and as it turned sideways, it’s driver side was struck by the 18-wheeler.
The man driving the Lexus was taken to Ben Taub General Hospital where he later died.
The name of the deceased has not been released.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
