Bushland, TX – One person was killed, and two others were critically injured early Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle collision in Bushland, according to the deputies.

The fatal collision was reported around 8:40 a.m. on March 24 at the intersection of Simmons Road and I-40.

Deputies said a semi-truck and a pickup truck were involved in the collision.

One person in the pickup truck was killed in the accident. Another person in the vehicle was airlifted to the hospital in critical condition.

The driver of the semi-truck was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

No further details were provided.

The Texas DPS is investigating the accident.
