Kenyan Man Stephen Kinge Killed in Katy Pedestrian Accident on Fry Road near Park Row Drive

Katy, Texas (December 28, 2018) – The pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle early morning on Christmas Day in Katy has been identified as Kenyan man Stephen Kinge, 21, according to a local news source.
The crash was reported at 1799 Fry Road near Park Row Drive at about 12:30 a.m. December 25.
The Harris County Sheriff’s deputies said Kinge was walking southbound on a very dark section of Fry Road when he was hit by a southbound GMC Yukon.
Kinge was rushed to Memorial Hermann Cypress Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the SUV remained at the scene and contacted the authorities.
The deputies are investigating the crash.
