Corpus Christi, TX – The woman who was killed Tuesday evening in a two-vehicle collision in Corpus Christi has been identified as Jacqueline Farmer, 43, according to the authorities.
The fatal collision occurred just before 7:00 p.m. on February 17 at the intersection of Greenwood and Horne Road.
Authorities said a man was driving northbound on Greenwood when he ran a red light at the intersection and crashed into Farmer, who was driving eastbound on Horne Road.
Farmer was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The collision remains under investigation.

The collision damaged a nearby traffic signal control box, which left the intersection without working traffic lights.
One of the drivers, a woman, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.
The other driver was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The collision closed the intersection for several hours.
