Gregg County, TX – Two people were injured early Monday morning in a two-vehicle collision in Gregg County, according to officials.

The collision happened at about 4:54 a.m. on February 16 on Interstate 20 near mile marker 592.

Officials said a vehicle collided with another vehicle in the eastbound lanes of the interstate.

One person was trapped and had to be extricated from the wreckage.

Two people were taken to the hospital for treatment.

No other details were available.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
