Crystal Beach, TX – One person was killed Saturday night in a pedestrian accident in Crystal Beach, according to the deputies.

The deadly accident was reported around 7:43 p.m. on February 7 in the 1000 block of Highway 87.

Deputies said a person was struck by a vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not been released.

The accident closed the highway between Tinkle Drive and North Jacks.

No additional information was available.

The authorities are investigating the accident.
