Premont, TX. – A 37-year-old man died after being hit by a pickup truck last Friday in Premont.
According to state troopers, the accident occurred on Business 281 around 8:35 p.m.
The pedestrian was crossing the road when he was hit by the right side of a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado that was traveling south.
The pedestrian was taken to Christus Spohn Hospital before being airlifted to Christus Spohn Shoreline, where he died on Wednesday.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
