Martin County, TX. – A 21-year-old man was killed in a collision involving a semi-truck on Tuesday morning in Martin County.
According to local authorities, the accident happened at the intersection of FM 829 and FM 3113 at around 8:45 a.m.
The driver of the 2003 Freightliner with a trailer lost control of the truck and rear-ended a 2015 International semi-truck traveling south on FM 829.
The driver of the 2003 Freightliner was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The 48-year-old driver of the 2015 semi-truck was not hurt.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
