Two Injured in Harris County Car Crash on Beltway 8 South

Harris County, Texas (December 22, 2018) – A Harris County Sheriff’s deputy was among two people injured in a multi-vehicle accident on Friday night, according to the authorities.
The wreck happened on Beltway 8 South near the Gulf Freeway interchange on Friday, December 21.
According to a preliminary investigation, a marked patrol vehicle crashed into the rear of a civilian car. A third vehicle was also caught up in the incident.
The deputy and one civilian were taken to the hospital for treatment. The injuries were not considered life-threatening.
The crash is under investigation.
