Joseph Katigbak was taken to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries
Austin, TX. – 35-year-old Joseph Capulong Katigbak has been identified as the man who died after being struck by a car in Austin on Wednesday evening.
The fatal accident happened around 5:55 p.m. at West Cesar Chavez Street and Walter Seaholm Drive, according to the Austin Police Department.
Katigbak was struck by a car near the intersection in unclear circumstances.
Katigbak was taken to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver remained at the scene and is assisting detectives with the investigation.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
