El Paso County, TX – A man was killed Thursday morning in a head-on collision in Far East El Paso County, according to the authorities.
The deadly collision happened around 6:43 a.m. on November 20 in the 2500 block of N. Ascencion Street near East Montana Middle School.
Authorities said a Freightliner dump truck was traveling northbound when it lost control due to the wet roadways, skidded into oncoming traffic, and crashed head-on into a Chevrolet pickup truck driven by Benjamin Caballero De Anda, 34, of Horizon.
De Anda was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
Further details were not available.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
