Woman Killed in Denton Pedestrian Accident on South I-35E

Denton, Texas (December 18, 2018) – A female pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on Monday morning in Denton, according to a report by the police.
The incident was reported at about 6:15 a.m. December 17 in the 2400 block of South I-35E.
Police said the woman was hit by a white Dodge Dakota traveling in the right southbound lane of the interstate.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity was not immediately released.
Police said the driver of the Dodge remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
