The driver of the Silverado was killed in the accident
Barnhart, TX. – One person was killed in a head-on collision in Barnhart on Friday evening.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened around 4:34 p.m. at U.S. Highway 67 and North First Street.
A 2008 Mitsubishi Raider was traveling westbound on U.S. 67 when it crossed over into the eastbound lane and collided head-on with a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado.
The driver of the Silverado was killed in the accident.
The driver of the Mitsubishi Raider was hospitalized with serious injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
