The pickup truck driver was killed in the accident
Travis County, TX. – One person was killed in a collision involving a CapMetro bus last Wednesday in Del Valle, Travis County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened around 6:50 a.m. on the 12200 block of Pearce Lane.
A Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck and a CapMetro bus were involved in the accident. The circumstances surrounding the collision were not immediately determined.
The pickup truck driver was killed in the accident.
The CapMetro driver and 15 passengers were aboard the bus at the time of the collision. Two children and three adults were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
