One Dies in Fatal Coryell County Crash on FM 116

Coryell County, Texas (December 10, 2018) – One person was killed and another injured when two vehicles collided head-on on Friday evening in Coryell County, according to the authorities.
The wreck happened on FM 116 at about 5:30 p.m. December 7.
The authorities said a 2007 Buick passenger car was traveling southbound on FM 116 when the driver lost control on the wet roadway, crossed the centerline and collided head-on with an oncoming 2017 GMC pickup.
According to the report, the driver of the Buick was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the GMC was transported to Baylor Scott and White with major injuries.
The authorities are investigating the incident.
