Lindale, TX – Several people were injured Saturday afternoon in a multi-vehicle accident near Lindale, according to the authorities.
The accident happened around 4:00 p.m. on August 30 on Interstate 20.
Authorities said the collision involved two tractor-trailers and six passenger vehicles.
Seventeen people were taken to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
The accident closed the westbound lanes of I-20 for more than two hours.
The Texas DPS is investigating the accident.
