Several People Sustain Injuries After Pursuit Ends in Crash in North Houston

Houston, Texas (June 23, 2017) – As per police, several people sustained minor Injuries when a chase ended up in a northwest Houston crash on Thursday.
The chase started at East T C Jester and W. 20th Street.
The incident was reported at around 3:15 p.m., June 22, at the intersection of Tidwell Road and Wheatley Street.
According to police, the driver of the car pursued was a wanted felony on warrants and sped away and crashed into several other cars.
The driver attempted to flee from the crash site but was immediately arrested.
According to a video, at least four vehicles including a tractor-trailer were involved in the accident. At least two ambulances were present at the crash site.
The tractor-trailer operator was not harmed, one of the drivers was treated at the crash site, and another was hospitalized. The suspect car driver sustained minor injuries, as per police.
The incident is still under investigation.
