Amarillo, TX – Two riders were killed Saturday night after their motorcycles collided in Amarillo, according to the Amarillo Police Department.
The deadly accident occurred on August 23 at the intersection of SE 3rd Avenue and S Lakeside Drive.
Police said a 2014 Harley-Davidson lost control and veered in front of a 2016 Honda VT, causing the Honda to hit the Harley-Davidson.
Both riders were ejected from the motorcycles, and they were pronounced dead at the scene. Their names have not been released. Both were not wearing their helmets.
No additional information was provided.
The police are investigating the accident.
