Dylan Pietrzyk Fatally Hit by Two 18-Wheelers on Highway 92 in Jones County

Dylan Pietrzyk ID’d as Man Killed in Jones County Crash on Highway 92

Jones County, Texas (December 4, 2018) – The man who was hit and killed by two 18-wheelers on Friday evening in Jones County has been identified as Dylan Pietrzyk, 26, of Norman, Oklahoma, according to the DPS.
The crash took place at around 6:50 p.m. November 30 on Highway 92 near Highway 277.
DPS said Pietrzyk was operating a vehicle on Highway 92 when it broke down. As he was loading the vehicle onto a tow truck at the side of the road, he was hit by two big rigs that were passing by.
The big rigs also struck Pietrzyk’s car and the tow truck.
DPS said Pietrzyk died at the scene.
The truck drivers were taken to Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene with non-life-threatening injuries.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
