Trooper Hurt in San Antonio Crash near Callaghan and Highway 90

San Antonio, Texas (December 2, 2018) – A DPS trooper was injured when his vehicle was hit by a truck late Saturday night in San Antonio, according to the police.
The wreck happened at about 11:45 p.m. Saturday, December 1 on Callaghan and Highway 90.
San Antonio police said the Texas Department of Public Safety trooper was stopping to check on an earlier accident when his vehicle was rear-ended by a truck driver, who then hit the guardrail.
The trooper was taken to University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the truck was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI.
