Students Among Several Hurt in Parker County Bus Crash on FM 51 and Wilson Lane

Parker County, Texas (December 2, 2018) – Several people were hurt in an accident involving a Bridgeport ISD school bus on Saturday night in Parker County, according to the DPS.
The crash occurred at around 9:41 p.m. December 1 on FM 51 near Wilson Lane.
DPS said a 2015 Chevrolet passenger car was traveling south on FM 51 when it crossed the centerline and collided with an oncoming bus carrying members of the Bridgeport Sissies basketball team.
Five girls and one coach were taken to a hospital in Fort Worth with minor injuries. The man driving the Chevrolet was also taken to a hospital in Fort Worth. His female passenger was airlifted to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth. The passenger was said to be in critical condition.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
