David Martin killed in car accident on US Highway 59 in Lufkin
Lufkin, TX. – One person was killed in a car accident early Saturday morning in Lufkin.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened on US Highway 59 at around 2:20 a.m.
A 2025 Ford F350 towing a camper failed to stay in its lane and struck a concrete barrier.
The driver, 43-year-old David Martin, was pronounced dead at the scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
