The accident happened around 9:50 a.m. on July 25, 2025, near the intersection of South Cooper Street and the Eastbound I-20 frontage road.
Authorities said the collision involved an Arlington Police Department Patrol Tahoe and another vehicle.
The officer in the patrol car and the other driver were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
